We were guided by wonderful Puncha! He made this safari so special for us, even though there were lots of other drivers he took us to the secluded areas and saw huge herds of elephants! He was just a good spotter too, he’d be zooming around and stopping to point out the lizards camouflaged in trees to birds flying up high in the sky! By far a highlight of my trip!!

Tanto el safari como el guia, Damidu, han sido excelentes. El safari ha sido super divertido e interesante, el guia nos iba contando curiosidades y datos de los animales que ibamos encontrando, además, nos ha venido en busca hasta el hotel y nos iba a dejar en el mismo pero nos ha propuesto llevarnos al templo de Dambulla, y de paso nos ha llevado a comer a un restaurante local (muy rico también). La experiencia en sí ha sido inolvidable y 100% recomendable. Sin duda repetiriamos, gracias Damidu!

Wirklich sehr zu empfehlen - wir wurden pünktlich beim Hotel abgeholt und es ging direkt zum Nationalpark. Am Anfang waren die Jeeps noch dicht aufeinander, aber unser Guide hat sich gleich von der Masse abgesetzt und wir sind tiefer in den Park rein als die anderen Fahrzeuge. Dadurch hatten wir ganze Elefantenherden für uns alleine und konnten die Tiere aus nächster Nähe betrachten. Wir haben außerdem viel Wissenswertes über Elefanten erfahren. Die Zeit im Park wurde bis 18 Uhr komplett ausgenutzt (viele andere Anbieter fahren schon vorher raus) und danach haben noch eine Stop zum Sonnenuntergang an einem See gemacht. Positiv ist mir auch aufgefallen, dass der Jeep in sehr gutem Zustand war - bei anderen Anbietern hatten die Reifen teils überhaupt kein Profil mehr. Unser Guide Sudee war sehr sympathisch. Sudeepa was a fantastic guide — we even stayed out on the safari longer than we had booked because he wouldn’t give up and was determined to find a larger herd of elephants to make us happy. At first we only saw solitary male elephants, and then he drove extra loops to find the herd — and succeeded! We also saw eagles, peacocks, and crocodiles. The next day we even met him privately for tea, and he told us about Sri Lanka and its culture from a local’s perspective — if you have the chance, I can only recommend it!

Clean modern jeep, good communication, our driver Sudee was very good- took us to some quieter areas for a better experience, he sent us some of the amazing photos he had taken of the elephants. We saw about 100 elephants and Sudee spotted deer, crocodile and a golden jackal. On way home he got us some fresh watermelon. A great driver and great experience - would recommend .

Had a wonderful experience doing the Jeep safari tour. Our guide Puncha was really knowledgeable of all the different animals we came across. He made sure we had a good amount of time everytime we saw elephants and he gave us plenty of time to take pictures. We went in June and were lucky enough to see lots of baby elephants .
